The history of Sambuca.
Sambuca (also spelled Sambucca) is an anise-flavoured drink. It is usually a clear liquid. This is often referred to as
white sambuca in order to differentiate it from derivative spirits that are deep blue in colour (known as black
sambuca) or bright red (red sambuca).
Traditionally drunk with a coffee bean or two dropped in the drink.
The history of the Society.
It
all began with an innocent event of god trying to steal a pedalo one drunken evening in Prague.
Some say a Sambuca bottle descended out of the sky and knighted Bill as god, others say he was wasted and this stories a load
of nonsense. Either way, its origins lie in the depths of Central Europe. After returning
to Great Britain (and sobering up), god
made it his life work to promote the Sambuca Challenge. After achieving 3 A levels in brewery studies, Sambuca appreciation
and Sambucology he headed to UCL to spread the word/drunken behaviour.
A few days in, gods mission became clear-he was to forge the One
Society to drink them all. Of course, every superhero needs his (gay) apprentice much like Batman and Robin. The Robin in
this affair was a) not gay and b) only wore lycra at night. His name was Oli aka gsus. Together, they created the SCS in the
depths of Bills room in middle London during freshers week.
And thus the games began…
