Its cruel, its unselective, its unavoidable and its delicious... its the MUNCHIES!
Here is our Munchies guide including perfected techniques to combat this menice. This has been created in association with the Head of the Munchies division.

McCoys... This is an excellent snack for when you’re caught short at a pub. For only £1.20 (£1.00 at UCLU/ULU) you can buy the delights of Salt and Vinegar (a personal favourite of god) and Mexican Chilli (Head of Munchies choice).

MacDonald’s... Open when all the others fail, this delightful little gem serves up excellent food to suit all needs (well-only the drunken). The pound saver menu often proves popular in a vain attempt to save money for Sambuca. On the healthy side-there’s little options save a bag of fruit (undoubtly deep fried) for 50p.

KFC... For those chicken lovers, this is your first port of call. There’s one on TCR near the fast food gauntlet (the stretch between Cambridge circus and Goodge Street where there are 2 KFC’s, 2 Burger Kings and 1 MacDonalds! Try doing this when you’re hungry).

Burger King... In the same league as MacDonalds although some say it does serve up better chips. The branch on Leicester Square is open all night-and you can nail a cheese burger for 99p.

Subway...  Delicious smells tempts the drunkard in more often than not, to sample the numerous combinations of sandwiches (both cold and toasted) available. Beware, when drunk this can be an expensive affair, normally because your too drunk to realise the cost of things (so remember to have the card with you). On the rare occasion that you pop in on a weekday whilst sober - try the £1.99 footlongs.

Tescos... The TCR Tesco near The Court has often been popular due to the sheer variety of snacks. This shuts at 11pm everyday and is normally the only shop open on Sunday. If you want to try out the self checkout, then head to Goodge Street where you can draw quite a crowd as you attempt to drunkenly fit a £20 note into the card slot.

Marks and Spencers... If you fancy a luxury snack, then this is your choice. For a little more, you can indulge in a feast for all the taste buds. There’s one half way down TCR.

Sainburys... Wedged safely between the pikieness of Tesco and the luxury of M&S, this is a highly popular snacking area. This is the best place to get lunch between 1pm and 1:30pm-the infamous London Lunchtime Rush. Sainsburys has the most available snacks including my personal favorite-51p cinnamon swirls. Open until 10pm Mon to Sat and 6pm on Sunday. The Charing Cross branch is open until midnight if your desperate.

ICCO... At the junction between Charlotte St and Goodge St. You can obtain a surprisingly good pizza for £3 stirling. However, drinks are quite expensive.

Bill locates the cookies and quickly proceeds to eating them (99p 5 Cookies from Sainsburys - *****)
